Fated To Duel Until You Die

Fleeing from unseen enemies, two wounded Samurai arrive at a mysterious old temple in a remote mountain location. Unable to walk any further, they collapse from exhaustion.
One awakens to find himself miraculously healed and in the care of the most eccentric host. The strange man tells him he legends of a Japanese demon that resides deep in the mountains and feasts on the flesh of men. He reveals that he is this demon - Aragami. Alive, yet unable to die, he seeks and end to his own limitless and empty existence, and existence without sleep, dreams or hope. He wishes only to die in battle against a worthy opponent. The young Samurai is challenged to a duel. They only way he can ever leave the temple is to first destroy Aragami...but will he truly be free? |
